QWOT publishes quotations, author and theme pages, and shareable images. The service is provided free of charge, “as is”, and may change or be discontinued at any time.

Quotations are attributed to their authors and, where known, their source work. Many are in the public domain; others are quoted briefly for commentary and education. The visual designs, layout, code, and original text on QWOT are our own and may not be copied, scraped, or republished without permission. You may share our pages and the images we provide via the built-in share features.

3. Acceptable use

Don’t use the site to break the law, infringe rights, or disrupt its operation (including automated scraping or bulk downloading of our assets). Don’t misrepresent our content as your own.
